I had the privilege of working with Rabbi Sarah Tasman on a life-affirming ceremony. It really met her exactly where she was at, and gave her space to be completely herself. The service you designed was about celebrating Saylor. Also it was the perfect balance and timing of things, which is so hard to do over Zoom. I was really moved. We will be forever grateful to Rabbi Tasman for helping us to have a truly lovely nuptial ceremony despite our interfaith situation and the inability to gather our friends and family during the covid pandemic. As an older couple who recently lost our respective spouses of many years, we were so lucky to have found each other just before the spread of covid-19. When we decided to marry, we were also very fortunate to have been referred to Rabbi Tasman. She gave us thoughtful ideas and advice that enabled us to have a surprisingly wonderful Zoom wedding certificate signing ceremony, incorporating both religious and civil rituals and involving our families and friends. Everyone who watched enthusiastically praised the rabbi and marveled how touching and meaningful the ceremony turned out to be despite the electronic venue.
