Special Program Saturday May 19th at Minyan Oneg Shabbat, 10am
Rabbi Sarah Tasman will be leading a special program at Minyan Oneg Shabbaton Saturday May 19th at 10am to prepare for the holiday of Shavuot. The morning will include exploring visual midrash (visual commentaries and interpretations) and art on the scenes of the Israelites receiving the 10 commandments at Mt Sinai. We'll also spend some time reflecting on the Torah we each want to receive in our own lives and opening our hearts and minds through meditation and intention setting. The morning will conclude with a special hand washing ceremony to ready ourselves for Shavuot. Bring an vegetarian item for our pot-luck vegetarian lunch!
